About Army of the Dead From filmmaker Zack Snyder (300, Zack Snyder’s Justice League), ARMY OF THE DEAD is set in the wake of a zombie outbreak that has left Las Vegas in ruins and isolated from the rest of the world. When Scott Ward (Dave Bautista), a former zombie war hero moved from Vegas, who is now flipping burgers on the outskirts of town he now calls home, is approached by casino boss Bly Tanaka (Hiroyuki Sanada), it’s with the ultimate proposition: Enter the zombie-infested quarantine zone to recover $ 200 million sat in a vault under the strip before the city was bombed by the government in 32 hours.

Spurred on by hopes the gain might help pave the way for a reconciliation with estranged daughter Kate (Ella Purnell), Ward steps up to the challenge by assembling a motley team of experts for the heist.

The Army of the Dead includes Maria Cruz (Ana de la Reguera), a mechanic ace and old friend of Ward; Vanderohe (Omari Hardwick), a zombie killing machine; Marianne Peters (Tig Notaro), cynical helicopter pilot; Mikey Guzman (Raúl Castillo), a passionate influencer and Chambers (Samantha Win), turn or death; Martin (Garret Dillahunt), responsible for casino security; a badass warrior known as Coyote (Nora Arnezeder) who recruits Burt Cummings (Theo Rossi), a slimy security guard; and a brilliant German cracker named Dieter (Matthias Schweighöfer).

Scott finds an unexpected emotional obstacle when Kate joins the expedition in search of Geeta (Huma S. Qureshi), a mother who has disappeared in the city. With a clock ticking, a notoriously impenetrable vault, and a smarter, faster horde of Alpha zombies approaching, only one thing is certain in the biggest heist ever: Survivors take it all in.
