Siddharth Anand has silently made his place among the highly successful directors of Bollywood. 6 films The former director hasn’t delivered a single flop in his career and his box office has only grown with each film. He gave Hrithik Roshan his first 150 crore + coarser with Bang Bang and first 300 crore coarser for Hrithik and Tiger Shroff with War. Now the same magic is expected for Pathan from Shah Rukh Khan.
Work on Pathan is in full swing and Siddharth Anand is passionately involved in the project to make it an action show. We’re sure the film will be nothing short of a visual treat. And it would be really nice if the director could just tick the most important box.
Here the checkbox we are talking about is Siddharth Anand’s tradition of releasing actors on Gandhi Jayanti i.e. October 2nd. Anand had followed the same date for Bang Band and War. Both films arrived on October 2. Bang bang went to get 181.03 crore and the war won 319 crores, thus proving to be the biggest success of the careers of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. Now we are expecting the same for Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan, but fans would be upset about that.
Yes, as we all know Pathan is in the filming phase and it really is a BIG project. Even after filming is finished, a lot of work will remain for the post-production phase. Thus, Siddharth Anand could follow his tradition of releasing actors on Gandhi Jayanti. It won’t be a surprise if Shah Rukh Khan’s return is announced to arrive on October 2, 2022.
Another interesting thing is that Anand has already announced Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone and its arrival on September 30, 2022 (only 1 day apart from Gandhi Jayanti). So, it’s one thing to see if the director stays away from his lucky date or not.
