Jennifer Aniston is a big name in the Hollywood film industry. The actress, aside from FRIENDS, has been a part of We Are the Millers, Go With It, Marley & Me, The Bounty Hunter, is known for her wit, comedic timing, and motivational quotes. But did you know she suffered from dyslexia?

Almost six years ago, actress FRIENDS made the revelation while conversing with an entertainment portal. While talking about being diagnosed with dyslexia, the actress also shed light on how relieved she felt to hear the news.

In a 2015 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Aniston opened up about her problems with dyslexia. She said, “The only reason I knew [that I had dyslexia] because I went to get a prescription for glasses.

Jennifer Aniston continued, “I had to wear these Buddy Holly glasses. One had a blue lens and the other a red lens. And I had to read a paragraph, and they gave me a quiz, asked me 10 questions based on what I had just read, and I think I have three.

She added, “Then they put a computer over my eyes, showing where my eyes went when I read. My eyes would jump four words and back two words, and I also had a little lazy eye, like a crossed eye, which they always have to correct in photos.

Adding that the revelation that she suffered from dyslexia changed her life, Jennifer Aniston said, “I thought I was not smart. I just couldn’t hold anything back. Now I have had this great discovery. I had the impression that all the traumas of my childhood die, tragedies, dramas have been explained.

Speaking about her time at school, Jennifer Aniston revealed that she is not a good student, mainly because of her dyslexia. She revealed that this situation doesn’t do much for her self-image but pushes her to develop her innate humor. In the interview, she said that her only passions at school were an art class, a workshop where she tried watercolors, charcoal and could sculpt wooden figurines and, of course, the theater.
