Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain is a daily dose of laughter for his fans. It’s been over 5 years, but the show refuses to slow down. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that this is one of the most iconic Indian sitcoms. But it hasn’t always been a good adventure if we’re talking about off-screen business. One of those incidents is when Shilpa Shinde left the show.

For those who don’t know, Shilpa left the show in early 2016 for playing the character of Angoori for a year. She left the show accusing producer Sanjay Kohli of sexual harassment and other issues. After leaving the show, she was quite open and raw about her opinions related to the show and its casting.

Last year Saumya Tandon who had been on the show as Anita Mishra left Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. Speaking on this, Shilpa Shinde said the actor is leaving a show for a variety of reasons. She even shared, “I never had a strong bond with Saumya, in fact, I didn’t bond well with my co-actors on the show, except it was different in Asifji’s case ( Asif Sheikh) with whom I had shared great camaraderie. I was pretty close to him and shared a really good bond. Although now I am not in contact with him.

After the release of Shilpa Shinde from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, Shubhangi Atre joined the show as Angoori. Shilpa had even reacted once to Shubhangi’s play on the show.

“She (Shubhangi) is a good imitator. I saw her on the show. You can make someone look and dress like Angoori, but it’s not easy to act like Angoori. She’s a good actress and she will certainly do well in her career if she stops imitating and does something original, ”Shilpa said in a conversation with Telly Chakkar.
