Aishwarya Rai Bachchan said: “Salman and I broke up last March, but he is not able to accept it… After we broke up, he would call me and talk to me about things. He also suspected me of having relationships with my co-stars. I was related to everyone from Abhishek Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan. There were times when Salman got physical with me, luckily without leaving a mark. And I would go to work as if nothing had happened. Salman stalked me and physically injured himself when I refused to take his calls.

Later in a conversation with Indian Express, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan called for Salman Khan’s alcoholic behavior and said, “I stood by his side to endure his alcoholic misbehavior in its worst phases and in turn I was at the end of his abuse (verbal, physical and emotional), infidelity and unworthiness. That’s why, like any other self-respecting woman, I ended my relationship with him.
