Actor Vivek Oberoi tweeted on Saturday to dispel false reports that he had been hospitalized in Chennai and had an emergency coronary angiogram followed by angioplasty.
News began to circulate after a section of the media mistook Vivek for Tamil actor Vivekh, who died earlier on Saturday.
Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has conveyed his condolences to the deceased actor while assuring fans that he is safe and healthy.
“There was a fake news about my hospitalization in Chennai, I would like to clarify that I am safe and healthy with my family in Mumbai, but deeply saddened to learn of @Actor_Vivek’s disappearance from the Tamil industry . I offer my deepest condolences to his family, ”he tweeted.
Vivek Oberoi recently received the first vaccine from the Covid vaccine.
