‘Vikings’ and ‘Chronicles Of Narnia’ cast with ‘The Gallery’ – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: George Blagden (Vikings, Versailles) and Anna Popplewell (The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe) will lead the cast of The gallery, a UK interactive hostage thriller project that will also be delivered separately as a linear film.

The feature film contains two narratives, one following a female protagonist set in London in 1981, and the other following a male protagonist set in London 2021. They both portray a successful art gallery curator in hostage by a portrait painter who threatens to explode a bomb unless their demands are met.

The project comes from director and writer Paul Raschid, who last year directed the interactive romantic comedy Five dates, who played Doctor Who actress Mandip Gill and Vikings actress Georgia Hirst. This movie has been released on platforms such as Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo, and Steam.

The gallery will be completed in October 2021. Filming took place in February and March of this year. The producers aim to release both a linear version of the film that can be shown at festivals and an interactive version that can be shown on online platforms.

The cast also includes Rebecca Root (The queen’s gambit), Shannon Tarbet (Stupid), Fehinti Balogun (I can destroy you) and Kara Tointon (Eastenders). The producer is former studio director Neville Raschid.
