Amid surge in COVID-19 cases, the makers of Manju Warrier Chaturmukham have decided to withdraw their film from theaters. The film hit theaters on April 8. Now, with an alarming rise in the number of covid cases in the country, the directors felt it was best to pull the film out of theaters and re-release it when the going was better.

“Dear friends, we are temporarily withdrawing our film ‘Chathurmukham’ from theaters in view of the current situation and everyone’s health. We’ll definitely be back in theaters for you when it’s safer, hopefully very soon, ”Manju Warrier wrote.

The Malayalam cinema superstar has also asked people to follow all COVID protocols and stay safe.

The techno horror film, the first of its kind in Malayalam cinema, also stars Sunny Wayne and Alencier. The film was directed by debutant Ranjeet Kamala Sankar and Salil V. Manju Warrier became co-producer of the film with Jiss Thomas and Justin Thomas.
