Box office predictions: While Roohi is the major release of the week after theaters reopen with 100% occupancy in most centers, there are two other films hitting screens this weekend – Time To Dance and Fauji Calling.

Time To Dance is Sooraj Pancholi’s next film after Satellite Shankar and comes with zero promotion and marketing. Surprising, since it also marks the debut in Bollywood for Isabelle Kaif. The film is based on a Latin dance form and could well have been another take on the ABCD franchise or Street Dancer. However, nothing has been said or heard about this film without anyone speaking to it.

Another release of the week is Fauji Calling and besides this one has Sooraj Pancholi’s mother, Zarina Wahab, in a major role, that of the mother of a fauji who is killed at the border. This could be the first time a mom and dad have faced off at the box office. The directors of this film have at least tried to create some awareness, and the presence of Sharman Joshi on the poster helps at least a little. The film has in fact already been declared tax exempt in Delhi, Haryana and Jharkhand.

While one couldn’t expect many from either of the two films on day one and ultimately it would all come down to the size of the release as well as any word of light that steps help for the rest of the weekend, the Friday box office. the numbers might well be in the 10 lakh range with the possibility of Fauji Calling getting numbers a bit better than Time To Dance.
