UPDATE: Caitlyn Jenner replied to View animate Joy Behar’s apology for cheating on her on Friday’s show.
“Don’t worry, @JoyVBehar,” Jenner tweeted on Saturday morning. “I’m not about canceling the crop. I know where your heart is. California has bigger problems than pronouns. “
EARLIER: Joy Behar, 78, blamed lack of sleep for using incorrect pronouns when referring to Caitlyn Jenner on Friday View.
Behar referred to Jenner three times as “he” while discussing Jenner’s advertised offer for the governorship of California.
“He’s got this guy Brad Parscale running his campaign. What do you think about that? “Behar asked co-host Sunny Hostin.” I mean, this guy was accused of using campaign funds to get rich. He’s the one running the show. his campaign – or rather his campaign. “
She made the same blunder once more and corrected herself again.
“I think he should – she rather – should take a seat and let someone with the credentials take over a big state like California,” Behar said.
Following an advertisement, Behar apologized for her mistakes.
“So, first of all, let me apologize for my confusion of pronouns,” she said. “I think I didn’t get enough sleep last night. I had no intention of mixing them up and tried to correct it immediately. But anyway, it just came out. So I’m sorry if anyone was upset by this.
Jenner has yet to comment on the situation.
