The Unloved, Part 88: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

I never really understood Michael apted. For most of my life, his name would appear incongruously under the “led by” credit in the Strangest Places. In fact, it was seeing the words “A Michael Apted Movie” on the trailer for this particular fantasy yarn that made me realize I really didn’t know anything about the man, but it sounded weird that ‘he did. Didn’t he make social documentaries?

I came to see that it wasn’t just that Apted had made all kinds of movies, but that he was like the main character in his 2006 film “amazing Grace, “William Wilberforce. Like him, he stood up for those who desperately needed a voice, be it the British working class in his.”Up“series, the blind man in his thriller”Blink, “the traumatized in his 1994 film”Nell, “the homeless in the exaggerated thriller”Extreme measures, “the animal kingdom in”Gorillas in the mist, “and Native Americans in both”Thunderheart“and” Incident in Oglala, “and during that time he was a true friend to everyone. Apted has turned being a good human into a great cinema. I can only hope that more people like him are on the way.
