‘The Twilight Zone’ restart canceled by CBS All-Access – Deadline
The second season of the reboot of The twilight zone has been submitted for your approval, to borrow a famous line from original sci-fi creator Rod Serling. Apparently there wasn’t enough approval, as sources confirmed to Deadline that CBS All-Access will not continue with the show for a third season.
Julie McNamara, executive vice president and head of programming for Paramount +, praised the series as the network bid farewell. “Jordan Peele, Simon Kinberg and the whole production team have really redesigned The twilight zone for the modern era. They supported the classic series’ legacy of socially conscious storytelling and inspired today’s viewers to explore all new dimensions of topical and stimulating themes that we hope will resonate with audience for years to come. “
