The release date for the long-awaited new episode of Tom Ellis’ Netflix show is now available

Lucifer by Tom Ellis is ready to come back into your life! Yes, you are waiting for the second part of the 5th season which is Lucifer 5B is ready to start streaming on Netflix after a long wait.

The show’s official Twitter handle made the big announcement. Sharing a photo from the show, Lucifer Twitter wrote, “We know more episodes are what you really want. Season 5B arrives on Netflix on May 28. “

The Netflix Twitter post read, “Here to share some exciting news you sure didn’t already know: Lucifer’s Season 5B premieres on May 28!

Now it’s just a little less than 2 months older and only the fans know how hard the wait is going to be. The first part of the 5th season was released in August of last year. Apparently, the show’s 6th season will be the last.

Here’s how enthusiastic fans reacted to the announcement.

The release date update is a huge sigh of relief for fans who have been desperately waiting for it. Earlier in January, after fans around the world requested an update, Lucifer Writers Room shared an update on their official Twitter account. They said they also didn’t have a release date on the site. It was said that they had not yet finished production and that was to blame the pandemic. They promised to update fans when they have a date with them, same goes for the trailer.

The tweet read, “We know everyone wants to know, but the truth is even WE don’t know when # Lucifer Season 5B is released. It is not finished yet. The pandemic blew up our plans. But when we have an official release date trust us, we’re dying to let you know! Ditto with a trailer. #patience #Lucifer. “
