Karma Takapa gained popularity as an actor with his portrayal of a shaman named Dev in the recent web series “The Last Hour” but, more than acting, he’s interested in cinema.
Speaking about the sequel to ‘The Last Hour’ and whether he is considering entering Bollywood, Karma told IANS: “I’m actually a filmmaker. The next thing is I’m in post-production on a movie. that I do, so my main focus is to be a filmmaker.
“I’m going to see what happens on that front because I haven’t thought about the sequel in terms of the movies, but I’m focusing on making the movie that I shot and I hope everyone can. watch it, ”Karma Takapa said. .
Karma graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune. “The Last Hour” marked his debut as an actor.
“Acting is more intimidating. I think it’s a craft that I studied, learned and practiced for a short time. It gets more intimidating when you are put in a position where you have to explore something that you are not really, say fully equipped…. It gets more intimidating, ”Karma told IANS.
Karma Takapa said the dynamics change when he comes in front of the camera.
“When I’m a filmmaker, I know where I’m going and what I’m doing. When you’re an actor on set, the dynamics change in terms of a show’s vision or process, ”said Karma Takapa.
The show, which was filmed in Sikkim, revolves around an investigating officer investigating a mysterious death. He enlists the help of Dev, a man of supernatural power, to solve the case. The series airs on Amazon Prime Video.
