The 12th Annual AAFCA Awards to be Held on April 7 | Festivals and awards

“Serving an all-black production crew, ‘Judas and the Black Messiah’ director Shaka King created a project that permanently enshrines Black Panther frontman Fred Hampton as an American hero. In “My Rainey’s Black Bottom” Chadwick Boseman once again showcased great understanding and execution of the acting profession. In what is the final performance of his career, he has confirmed why he will always be considered one of the best actors of his generation.The AAFCA is extremely happy to honor him for this extraordinary performance.
