Sun TV Network to provide 30 crore aid to fight COVID

Sun TV Network donated 30 crore to help people fight the second wave of Covid-19 in the country. The TV station released a statement on Monday, which explained how it would support state and central government initiatives with donations and also link with NGOs that help people with oxygen cylinders and medicine.

The statement read: “Sun TV network is donating an amount of Rs. 30 crores to provide relief to people affected by the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. This sum will be spent on several initiatives currently underway in various states of India, including the following: 1. Donations to various programs initiated by Indian government and state governments. 2. Partnership with NGOs which provide oxygen cylinders, medicines, etc. “

He added, “Additionally, the company will harness its resources, including all of its media assets, to further educate millions of viewers across India and the rest of the world.”

The network owns the IPL Sunrisers Hyderabad cricket team.
