Stormy Daniels to be guest on Michael Cohen’s podcast – Deadline

Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer, has been podcasting since last September, and his Monday show will feature a particularly notable guest: adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

PodcastOne, the LiveXLive Media affiliate and podcast platform, announced that Daniels will be having a conversation with Cohen, which is billed as their “very first interaction.”

Daniels’ story was at the heart of one aspect of Cohen’s legal issues. In 2018, he pleaded guilty to tax evasion and campaign finance violations, the latter resulting in the payment of $ 130,000 in silent money to Daniels in exchange for a nondisclosure agreement. Daniels claimed she had an affair with Trump in 2006, but he denied it.

Cohen, who has since become a vocal critic of Trump, was released from house arrest last year over fears of the spread of Covid-19. He was returned to jail for a time last summer, but a federal judge ordered his return, concluding that his return was in retaliation for Cohen’s plan to publish an unflattering book on Trump.

The podcast, Mea Culpa with Michael Cohen, will air at 9 p.m. PT and will be available on the platform as well as Apple Podcasts, Spotify Podcasts and Sticher. Cohen’s past guests have included Ben Stiller and Rosie O’Donnell.
