“Sometimes it gets embarrassing”

First of all, let us thank Anurag Kashyap for producing crude detective films without falling prey to the typical Bollywood formula. No idle, nothing! Either watch him with your full attention or fuck him. Gangs Of Wasseypur falls into such a category and it is a gem of Indian crime films. While Manoj Bajpayee stole the thunder in Part One, Nawazuddin Siddiqui provided a complex for on-screen Bollywood villains in Part Two. For years we hear that GOW 3 is happening, but it looks like we have to wait a little longer!

No mere speculation, but writer Zeishan Quadri, who also played Definite in Part 2, had himself confirmed to write Part 3 as a prequel. He said it in 2015, but to this day there is no word from any of the actors or from Anurag Kashyap. One thing is certain that the film will happen, but you just have to be patient.

Recently, before The Family Man 2 was released, we chatted with Manoj Bajpayee. As Gangs Of Wasseypur 3 is said to be a prequel, we asked him if he had been approached to take over Sardar Khan. His response could break millions of hearts by saying, “No, I haven’t been approached. And I have no news of a Gangs Of Wasseypur prequel. It has gained the status of a cult classic and people continue to speculate, to talk about it. It’s flattering, but the kind of news that people keep spreading gets embarrassing sometimes. “

Well that’s really disheartening, but nonetheless we’re very excited to see Manoj Bajpayee in The Family Man 2.

The Family 2 is slated to go live on June 4 on Amazon Prime Video.
