New character, new look
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai recently underwent a major change in history. We saw Naira and Kartik go their separate ways after Naira fell off a cliff. Kartik is broken as he loses his wife and wants to leave the house with her. However, later returns for her children, Kairav and Akshara. We have seen how Kartik is too possessive towards his children and does not let them get away from him even once. He has become an overly protective father and wants to take Naira’s place in Kairav and Akshara’s life. Kartik does everything he needs for his children and forgot to love and live for himself. Manish and the other members are not happy with the way Kartik lives and therefore decide to send Kairav to a boarding school so that Kartik has time for himself. Kairav overhears this conversation and decides to leave for his father. However, Kartik disagrees and wants Kairav to stay behind. In the meantime, Kairav also develops an interest in boxing but Kartik does not allow it. Kartik drops Kairav off at his new boarding school and we finally see Shivangi Joshi entering with a new character. Yes, our favorite actress entered the show as Sirat who is a boxer.
