Shilpa Shetty Kundra took to Instagram on Friday to share that her husband Raj Kundra, children Samisha and Viaan, and mother Sunanda, as well as the in-laws, have tested positive for Covid. The actress, who has tested negative, added that all family members are quarantined and recovering.

“The past 10 days have been difficult for us as a family. My in-laws tested positive for Covid-19, followed by Samisha, Viaan-Raj, my mother and finally Raj. They were all isolated in their rooms at home according to official guidelines and followed the doctor’s advice. Two of our internal employees have also tested positive and are being treated at a medical facility. By the grace of God, everyone is on the road to recovery. My tests came back negative. All security measures were followed according to protocol, and we are grateful to the BMC and authorities for their prompt assistance and response. Thank you for all your love and support. Please continue to keep us all in your prayers. Please mask yourself, disinfect, stay safe; and whether or not Covid is positive… ALWAYS stay MENTALLY POSITIVE, ”Shilpa wrote on Instagram.

She captioned the post saying, “Stay safe, everyone.”

In terms of work, the actress has two films lined up. She will be seen in “Hungama 2”, the sequel to the 2003 hit “Hungama”. In addition to this, Shilpa will also be seen in the movie “Nikamma” which stars Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia.
