Another week, another Friday night odds demo win for ABC Shark aquarium. The business entrepreneurs reality TV series took home the crown once again, scoring 0.6, a tenth lower than last week, but enough to take top honors.
Sharks Mark Cuban, Kevin O’Leary, Lori Greiner, Barbara Corcoran and guest Shark Kendra Scott heard funding proposals for comfortable high heels, food storage, women’s swimsuit issues and a special sauce company.
The show held a hearing for Newsmag 20/20, which offered an exclusive interview with the recently released murderer Margaret Rudin, who killed her millionaire husband. The show scored 0.5 for winning its perpetual war with NBC Dateline.
Fox WWE Friday Night SmackDown offered a preview of the annual Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event on Sunday. Friday’s show featured all six participants in Sunday’s game against the Elimination Chamber on the SmackDown side. It was enough for a 0.5 on the evening score sheet.
CBS crime drama programming saw MacGyver and Magnum PI weigh with 0.5 count, holding steady from last week. The night capped off with a rerun of the Blue Bloods.
At The CW, a great performance by Who owns it anyway? saw the show get off the mat for a 0.2. Host Aisha Tyler was crushed by Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady, and Colin Mochrie, as well as guest comedian Greg Proops. Penn & Teller: Cheating on us kept stable at 0.1 to end the night.
On NBC, crime drama James Spader The blacklist slipped a bit, entering at 0.3, while Dateline spent some of that to bring home a 0.4 for his portrayal of widower-creator Thomas Randolph.
