Shah Rukh Khan has been in the industry for almost three decades. He has not only won many hearts for his romantic films, but he’s also been a brand favorite since the 90s. One of them is Hyundai, with whom the actor has been associated for 19 years.
SRK has worked with several brands in categories ranging from sports and cola to pan masala. His strong flair as a charming personality for romance and his modest trip from New Delhi to become Bollywood’s biggest star makes him one of the ideal candidates in the world of endorsement.
Now Hyundai has released a brand new commercial, where Shah Rukh Khan is seen in a suave and stylish avatar. Not only is the actor playing a dual role with his new look from his highly anticipated film Pathan. Take a look at the ad below:
Now we can wait to see him in Siddharth Anand’s Pathan movie. The film serves as a throwback to the superstar who has been on sabbatical for three years since his last release Zero, directed by Anand L Rai.
Besides Shah Rukh Khan, the film will see John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in important roles. John will play the role of antagonist in the film. Salman Khan will also make an appearance as Tiger in the film.
Fans have been looking forward to seeing the onscreen superstar together for a long time. The film recently went to ground, but due to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown imposed by the government of Maharashtra, filming has been suspended indefinitely.
Reports of Pathan’s crew members testing positive for the virus have also started to spread on social media. A source revealed: “YRF works in an extremely efficient bio bubble. Tests take place regularly on the sets and all members of the crew stay in a hotel. People who transport them from a tray to a hotel are also tested and accommodated in hotels. So if there is someone who tests positive, it will be before the start of the schedule and automatically eliminated from the crew.
The source added: “With the lockdown looming in Mumbai, Pathan’s crew had taken a two-day break anyway so they could assess the decision. It doesn’t make sense to start a new schedule and stop it. So if there’s no lockdown, the movie will pick up soon anyway.
