Shah Rukh Khan returns to the big screen after 3-year hiatus with Siddharth Anand’s action flick Pathan. As fans eagerly await further updates on the film, the latest report claims the actor plans to create a web series based on the life of a popular political strategist.
Siddharth Anand’s Pathan movie has been in the headlines since last year and according to reports the movie was on track and the times were planned. SRK even got on board and shot a few scenes. While there is no official confirmation, it’s pretty much a known industry secret.
According to the Times Of India report, political strategist Prashant Kishore will meet with Shah Rukh Khan at his Mannat residence and discuss the web series project. Although there are no details on the project, but the report claims that it will be produced by Khan’s Red Chillies production.
The report also mentions that Prashant Kishore has already met with Nationalist Congress Party leader Sharad Pawar in Mumbai, and the meeting lasted nearly three hours. Pawar had organized a lunch for Kishor to discuss the current political situation.
Meanwhile, filming of Shah Rukh Khan’s action film Pathan has halted due to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. The film is set in the Realms of Tiger, aka the Salman Khan Spy Universe which also stars Katrina Kaif. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham will also be seen in the film.
A recent Bollywood Hungama report revealed that filming on Pathan will resume on June 21. The development comes after the government of Maharashtra began the process of unlocking in the state. Filming will resume with the new SOPs and follow all protocols suggested by the government.
