Popular Korean pop group SEVENTEEN are gearing up for the release of their Japanese single in April 2019. Prior to that, they performed a mix of their hit tracks for a special segment on Entertainment Tonight.
SEVENTEEN performed the songs, including ‘Beautiful’ from their 2016 album ‘Love letter’, 2017 album ‘Adolescent, age’ Track ‘Clap’, ‘Don’t Wanna Cry’ from the 2017 album ‘Al1’, ‘Snap Shoot’ from album 2019 ‘An Ode’ and ‘Left right’ from the 2020 album “Heng: garæ”. Performing in a beautiful street setting, the medley included members S. coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon, Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, Seungkwan, Hoshi, Jun, The8 and Dino.
The group ended the special performances with a cover of Justin Bieber ‘Holy’ who featured Woozi, DK and Seungkwan, some of the powerful singers in the industry, showcased their powerful and perfect vocals.
Speaking to ET about the coverage, SEVENTEEN said: “‘Holy’ has been repeated for us since its release. It got stuck in our heads and we often found ourselves humming or singing throughout the day. So naturally when we got the chance to perform a short cover of a pop song during our ET medley, we all came down to pick ‘Holy’. “
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN will return with their new Japanese single. “Hitorijyanai” April 21. They already teased him on TikTok. The 13-member boy group is also expected to host a fan meeting and chat with Japanese fans next week.
