Salman Khan is ready to brighten our lives in the midst of this COVID-19 pandemic with his neighbor, Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai. While the director of Prabhudeva is days away from our screens, we haven’t heard that the makers have renegotiated their deal with Zee. Scroll down to learn more about this renegotiation.

Zee has acquired the satellite, digital, musical and theatrical rights to the star of Salman-Disha Patani. Earlier reports indicated that this deal was worth a whopping sum of Rs. 230 crore – the greatest period of pandemic in Indian cinema. However, with a theatrical release that still seems unlikely, both parties involved are renegotiating financial data.

As reported by Bollywood Hungama, the Rs. 230 crore agreement between the creators of Radhe de Salman: Your Most Wanted Bhai and Zee were overturned by Rs. 40 crore. A trade source told the publication. “After multiple discussions with Salman Khan, Zee has now reduced the value of the transaction from Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai to Rs. 190 crores, as a theatrical release in India, is now out of the question. “

Further adding, the insider said, “It feels more like a direct digital first on a pay-per-view format with a theatrical release overseas. The first deal was signed with a different release structure in mind and the film is now releasing in a totally different format.
Continuing further, the source said that while the Salman Khan star’s team wanted it to be shown in theaters and through a pay-per-view format, that has all changed.

The insider revealed, “When Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai team decided to release the Eid film in April, they were confident they would get at least 1000 screens, but at this point the country didn ‘t even have 100 functional. screens. This is therefore a direct digital pay-per-view release followed by a free digital premiere within four weeks of release. “

Since Radhe is now attached to a direct digital release, directors can consider the theatrical part of the film abroad as a simple bonus. Speaking of box office expectations and the returns of the Salman Khan star, the trade source said, “They expect big returns from the overseas belt. However, whether Rs. 10 crore, Rs. 20 crore or even Rs. 30 crore At best, Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai’s overseas share feels more like a bonus to the team.

Further, the insider said, “Zee and SKF would also donate a certain percentage of the cross-platform version’s share to the Covid Relief Fund to help those in need. The team is confident that they will easily recover all of their investment through the multiplatform launch plan. “

A Prabhudheva director Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai stars Salman Khan, Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff. The film will be released simultaneously in theaters and digitally via ZEE5 on May 13, 2021.
