The long-awaited film by Salman Khan Radhe: your most wanted Bhai was finally published on EID last month after being delayed for a year. The film has been released on the ZeePlex pay-per-view platform since cinemas closed in most parts of India.
However, the creators only managed to release Salman’s action film in 3 theaters, this also only in Tripura as the country went into lockdown due to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Since Maharashtra goes into unlock mode and theaters have been allowed to open in neighborhoods and towns falling under level 1.
While cinemas are still considering whether to reopen theaters, two cinemas have taken the initiative and released Salman’s Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai starting Friday, June 11. It appears that the two cinemas are Enjoy Drive-in cinema in Malegaon and Khinvasara Cineplex (formerly Apsara Cinema) in Aurangabad.
Now Bollywood Hungama released Salman Khan Weekend Collection Radhe: your most wanted Bhai. The report reads: “On Saturday Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai collected Rs. 5,445 while on Sunday he collected Rs. 6,229. These are approximate figures. It should also be noted that the film managed to collect Rs. 6,018 on Friday and therefore the total collection amounts to, Rs. 17,792.
Radhe de Salman managed to collect Rs. 63,248 Tripura cinemas during the release week. Now the total collection of the film, Tripura and Maharashtra combined, stands at Rs. 81,040. The film’s response seems to be a bit weak on Saturday compared to Friday as only 16 tickets were sold at the Enjoy Drive-in theater.
On the other hand, the occupancy rate almost doubled at Khinvasara Cineplex, hence the reported sales of 41 tickets. The Enjoy Drive-in theater enjoyed much better attendance on Sunday with the sale of 39 tickets.
