Radhe with Salman Khan is now officially the most trolled movie of recent times after Akshay Kumar’s Laxmii. Nonetheless, the Eid version works very well in theaters around the world. Released on May 13, the film has completed 4 days in theaters and we’ve got our hands on 3 days of collecting the film.
Salman’s release for Eid had a huge buzz in the UAE and as expected, the film is producing as much of it as possible. Besides the UAE, the film also grosses a decent amount in Australia and New Zealand.
According to trade estimates, Salman Khan’s Radhe won 14 crores about. at the end of a 3-day theatrical race. Out of that, 10 crores come from UAE. The long weekend (4 days) should pass 17 crores At the box office.
Directed by Prabhudeva, Radhe also stars Randeep Hooda, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Arjun Kanungo in key roles.
In India, the film is available through ZEEPlex on DTH platforms like D2H, Airtel Digital TV, Dish TV and Tata Sky, for 249 INR. On ZEE5, the film is available as a combined offer of INR 499.
Recently, ZEE5 saw 4.2 million views in the first 24 hours, creating a story in the OTT world. It’s not an exact calculation, but some tweets report that the movie made 105 crore on day 1 using a simple formula. However, even if these 4.2 million are “unique views”, that is to say a view per paid account, the formula views x subscription costs is still not precise to calculate the figure for the first day. .
Why? Because ZeePlex also had another plan of Rs 499 in which the user will get one year of no-subscription subscription with Radhe. So in this scenario, it’s a bit of a blur as to how much of that will count as the movie’s share.
