Not just Marvel, Ryan Reynolds also dabbled in the DC Universe. Unlike his successful stint as Deadpool in the MCU, DC’s Green Lantern didn’t give him the praise he expected. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that his performance on the project was amazing. While on that yesterday the rumor mill turned faster as it was revealed there was a surprise appearance in Zack Snyder’s Cut of Justice League climax. It wasn’t long before it was rumored that it was the green guy from Reynolds. But now the actor himself has dispelled the rumor # and here’s everything you need to know.

This isn’t the first time Green Lantern, aka Ryan, has been associated with Zack Snyder’s Justice League. When Snyder announced that he was shooting new parts and remaking others, it was said the filmmaker was incorporating Lantern like he did Joker and the rest of the cast, but nothing true. Making its way to the mainstream was the update that a special cameo awaits the climax on March 18. And fans quickly made an offer for Green Lantern.

The internet is a seemingly small world, the update reached Ryan Reynolds when a fan tagged him and asked him to confirm if it was true. The actor was quick to clarify that this was not the case and he was no longer reprising the character of DC as he is now. In his response, the actor wrote, “It’s not me. But what a cool pirate flag cameo as Hal. Maybe it’s another GL? But for me, the costume stays in the closet. I mean, computer.

Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds is currently busy shaping his R-rated Marvel superhero Deadpool for his Threequel and all eyes are on the film which will see its first release since acquiring Marvel. The actor is pretty motivated to return as Merc and there has been plenty of speculation on the same subject.

Speaking of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the movie is set to hit HBO Max on March 18 as a 4-hour movie. The official trailer for the same came out this Valentine’s Day and took audiences by storm.
