‘RoboCop’ movie ‘RoboDoc’ wraps up filming after securing Peter Weller – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: After a long trip to the screen, RoboCop in-depth documentary RoboDoc finished filming after getting a lengthy interview with original film star Peter Weller.

RoboDoc: the creation of RoboCop will trace the story behind Paul Verhoeven’s cult classic from 1987, including interviews with key creators and producers. Today, we can unveil a promo clip for you.

The document is a Cult Screenings UK production in association with Red Rock Entertainment and features interviews with cast and crew including Weller, Verhoeven, Nancy Allen, Kurtwood Smith, Ray Wise, Ronny Cox, Phil Tippett, Bart Mixon and dozens of others.

The film is co-directed by Christopher Griffiths (Leviathan: The Story of Hellraiser) and Eastwood Allen (One day i will fly). The producers are Gary Smart, Adam Evans, Michael Perez and Hank Starrs (Elstree 1976) and executive producer is Adam F. Goldberg

After four years in the making, the film is expected to go into important details about RoboCoptrip to the screen.

Paul Verhoeven’s film, released at the time by Orion Pictures, is set in dystopian and criminal Detroit and follows a terminally injured cop who returns to the force as a powerful cyborg haunted by submerged memories.
