The Producers Guild of America (PGA) Awards honored the late actor Irrfan Khan in their 2021 edition. The actor was honored as part of their “In Memoriam” segment. The awards which are considered an Oscar of the Oscars took place practically on Wednesday.

Irrfan was one of 21 movie personalities remembered during the “ In Memoriam ” segment of the ceremony. However, they blundered with the spelling of Irrfan Khan by saying “Irrif Kahn”.

Irrfan wasn’t the only typo spotted during the event. The name of Minari star Steven Yeun who was one of the presenters of the misspelled event as “Steven Yuen”.

Irrfan Khan died on April 29, 20202 after a two-year battle with a rare form of cancer. The ‘In Memoriam’ segment also honored Kirk Douglas, who died at the age of 103 in February last year and Black Panther Chadwick Boseman, who died in August last year after battling cancer for four years.
