Yuvika Choudhary recently had problems with the law after using a castista insult in one of her videos. An FIR was filed against Yuvika, but she maintains that she did not know the meaning of the word and did not want to use it in the way it was perceived by the population. She had even issued a public apology for the same.

Days after the incident, Yuvika’s husband Prince Narula reacted to the controversy. Speaking to the paparazzi who asked him to comment on the case, he said they do not believe in the caste system. “I feel like for the past three days people have been making a big deal out of a little thing,” the reality TV star said. He said the question is a relatively small thing and said Yuvika had no idea that the use of the word could have caste connotations.

Prince Narula further stated that they do not believe in caste and set an example of their union. He said he is a Punjabi while Yuvika is a Jat and that they would not have been married if they had believed in caste.

Apologizing for using the word, Yuvika tweeted: “Hi guys, I didn’t know the meaning of that word I used in my last vlog, I didn’t mean to hurt anyone and I can never do that. to hurt someone I apologize to everyone n everyone, hope you understand, love you all.
