Prince Harry and Meghan Markle name their daughter Lilibet Diana in honor of Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana: Bollywood News

The former Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave birth to their second child on June 4, Friday. The name pays homage to her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, whose childhood nickname is Lilibet, and her late grandmother Diana, the Princess of Wales.

“On June 4, we had the chance to welcome our daughter Lili. She is more than we could ever have imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we have felt around the world, ”the official statement read. “Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”

The Royal Family tweeted on June 6: “Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the birth of Lilibet Diana! The Queen, Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted with the news. Lilibet is Her Majesty’s eleventh great-grandchild.

The couple got married on May 19, 2018, in keeping with royal wedding traditions. They welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor in May 2019.

The couple started living in the United States. They got their Netflix deal in September 2020, which allows them to create documentaries, feature films, scripted TV shows and children’s series.

Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey are also creating a show The Me You Can’t See for Apple TV Plus, which delves deep into mental health and the steps for getting help.
