Hello Great Britain Anchor Susanna Reid addressed the abrupt departure of her co-host, Piers Morgan, just up from the show Wednesday morning.
After Morgan drastically quit on Tuesday following comments he made about Meghan Markle’s mental health, Reid looked into the camera barrel and said: “A number of people, of course, will know the news. and many of you will not and will be surprised. that Piers Morgan is not here this morning.
“Today Piers and I disagree on a lot of points and that dynamic is one of the things viewers loved about the show. He is, without a doubt, an open, stimulating, opinionated and disruptive broadcaster. He has a lot of reviews and he has a lot of fans. You’ll know I didn’t agree with him about Meghan’s interview. He himself clarified his comments about his sanity on the show yesterday.
“Now Piers has decided to quit the program. Some of you may clap and some may boo. He’s been my presenting partner, Monday through Wednesday, for over five years. And during Brexit and the pandemic, and other issues, he’s been a voice for many of you and a voice many of you have cursed yourself at. It will certainly be very different, but the shows go on and on and on.

Reid stopped before apologizing for Morgan’s remarks after the former CNN presenter said he didn’t believe Markle when she revealed she was considering suicide while at the Palace of Kensington. The Sun reported that ITV bosses wanted Morgan to apologize, but he refused and walked.
