With the success of the second wave of COVID and the extension of the lockdown, many of us are back where we left last year. To make it a bit easier for you, we have provided you with a list of various quirky horror movies that you can watch on OTT, the movies we have listed below do not fit into the horror movie category ‘big public ”, and we are therefore calling them offbeat.

The movies we’ve listed below don’t fit into the “ mainstream ” horror movie range, and so we call them quirky. Additionally, rather than targeting just one platform, we bring you a variety of different movies available to watch on popular OTT platforms.

Located in Florida, the disaster of this horror-disaster is the Category 5 hurricane that takes the city by storm. Haley Keller (Kaya Scodelario), despite the warning from the local police, moves to the house of her father Dave (Barry Pepper) to save him. This is the kind of horror movie we deserve! A good blend of thrills and history, resulting in an exhilarating viewing experience. If you can digest it, go for it!

The 1922 story revolves around a farmer who writes a confession admitting to the murder of his wife, but her death is only the beginning of a macabre tale. Interesting anecdotes; this is based on the Stephen King short story of the same name. This should turn out to be an OTT treat for all “king” lovers.

This horror drama by Vera Farmiga, Peter Sarsgaard is the story of a husband and wife who recently lost their baby and adopted a 9-year-old girl who is not as innocent as she claims.

Koi Saath Hai

Available on: MX Player

Directed by Mahaveer Shringi, Koi Saath Hai is a story of 5 friends who take a road trip from Delhi to Jaipur, and upon arriving at their hotel, decide to call the spirits for fun. What happens later is sure to be a fun ride for all of us, as Mahavir merged the horror genre with bits of comedy. OTT fans, this is the only movie on the list to watch for free.

Bulbbul may not be the top scorer; the message itself is the winner. Look at Bulbbul for Tripti Dimri and the idea. As said, it takes a woman to be a witch for the world to be afraid of her. We need to change that!
