With films from different industries in India releasing in multiple languages, the stars not only come out but also promote films with big ties in different film industries.

As part of a strong promotional movement, actors are promoting songs and films from different film industries, thus ensuring that the film’s reach expands in cinema markets beyond its familiar area.

Salman Khan on Monday launched the Hindi teaser for the upcoming biopic drama “Major”. The film with Adivi Sesh is produced in Telugu, Hindi and dubbed in Malayalam.

Many Hindi speaking fans will know “Major” primarily because Salman launched his poster, just as Kerala audiences were loved by the film because Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran posted about it. Likewise, film producer Mahesh Babu launched the Telugu version.

Not too long ago, the film “Muddy”, billed as India’s first off-road racing film, was announced by five actors from five different industries. While actor Arjun Kapoor launched the teaser for Hindi speaking audiences, the teaser was also released virtually by Malayalam actors Fahad Faasil and Unni Mukundan, Telugu filmmaker Anil Ravipudi, Tamil actor Jayam Ravi and actor kannada Dr Sivaraj Kumar.

Recently, the song “Chali Chali” from Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film “Thalaivi” was released by Telugu actress Samantha Akkineni.
