“No comparison makes sense”

Pratik Gandhi calls 1992 Scam Comparisons to Abhishek Bachchan’s The Big Bull “ unfair ” (PC: Instagram)

Pratik Gandhi became an overnight sensation with his work in Scam 1992. The scam-based series led by Harshad Mehta was released amid the lockdown and left everyone stunned. The actor has won massive praise, unprecedented fame, and is now inundated with offers. But one thing that has consistently stuck is the comparison with Abhishek Bachchan directing The Big Bull.

As Scam 1992 revolves around the “scam” that Harshad Mehta was involved in, The Big Bull focuses more on the “rags to wealth” story. However, comparisons were afloat by the time fans learned of the subject’s similarity. And Pratik is not satisfied with it.

Pratik Gandhi, in a conversation with SpotboyE, called comparisons with Abhishek Bachchan unfair. He said: “I don’t think two individuals, especially artists, can or should be compared. As we are different human beings. The way we think, feel, feel is bound to be different. No comparison therefore makes sense. Both performances should be seen with reference to the script and the character requirement for the same. “

But Pratik Gandhi clarified that he had yet to watch The Big Bull. “I haven’t watched The Big Bull yet. But it’s exciting to see a new version of the same story, ”he added.

Professionally, the actor has already bagged a feature film with Bollywood beauty Taapsee Pannu. Speaking of the same, Gandhi shares, “It’s called Woh Ladki Hai Kahan with Taapsee Pannu produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur. There are a few more web series and movies that are expected to be announced shortly. “

He is also producing a web series with Tigmanshu Dhulia, which is currently in production.
