Fashion designer Margaret Josephs says parents should let children lead their lives independently instead of trying to decide for their young ones.
“Never crush your children’s dreams. Let them be what they want to be. You can give advice, but still develop it, ”Josephs says in an interview with Page Six.
Josephs, who is also known for her role on the popular reality TV show “Real Housewives Of New Jersey”, however, preferred not to talk about her children on the show. She’s the mother of a son, Bret, but she generally doesn’t like to talk about him or his stepchildren.
“I am open to everything that concerns me”, she says and adds: “I do not speak about the life of my children because it is their life and their story to tell. Everything that has happened to me in my life and the way it affects me – totally open. I’ll say anything. I am TMI and I feel comfortable for people to understand. Things with my children are off limits for me, ”she said.
