Cross Creek placed the film under their multi-picture development agreement with Chris Sharp, Emily Salveson, and Ryan Smith of Streamline Global.
This is Netflix’s third major acquisition in the past 10 days after we revealed their stellar deals for Operation Mincemeat and The ice road.
So far, they are the only known buyer to have exceeded $ 10 million in the market, but we do know that a number of large packages have been purchased by independent distributors as well, so this is not only from the streamer. Market negotiations continue this weekend and next week.
