“The Great Untold” is all about creativity. Participants can play through their story Tick tock or WhatsYourGreatUntold.com by June 13, 2021 and three winners will be selected and made into short films. In addition to the money to start your project, each participant will be paired with a mentor. The competition mentors include Playwright, filmmaker and writer David Talbert, producer, writer and costume designer Lyn Sisson-Talbert and Ryan O’Connell, leading actor on the Netflix series. Special.
The great thing about this contest is that Adobe and Netflix provide access to the equipment, tools, and crew necessary to get production started, while inviting local communities as movie set crews, wardrobes, extras and more.
In addition, the creators’ short films will be shown alongside a behind-the-scenes documentary series that shows the creative process, documented by Nadia Hallgren, director of the Netflix Michelle Obama documentary Become.
