Shravan Kumar Rathod of the popular songwriting duo Nadeem-Shravan is seriously ill and hospitalized. The composer had recently tested positive for Covid.
Shravan is critical as he is believed to have comorbidities but his condition did not deteriorate after he was admitted to hospital, according to reports on the film. He is currently at Raheja Hospital, Mahim, Mumbai.
Nadeem-Shravan is widely regarded as the musicians who brought the tune back in the early 90s with “Aashiqui,” their 1990 superhit soundtrack. Frequent collaborations with Kumar Sanu have resulted in a string of musical hits through the years. 90, including “Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahin”, “Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke”, “Saajan”, “Phool Aur Kaante”, “Sadak”, “Deewana” and “Pardes”.
Shravan’s report fighting Covid-19 comes at a time when several Bollywood celebrities are battling the coronavirus.
Recently, Bollywood personalities who have tested positive for Covid include Rahul Roy, Sonu Sood, Arjun Rampal, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sumeet Vyas and Sameera Reddy.
