McG To Direct ‘Turner & Hooch’ Disney + Reboot Pilot Episode – Deadline

McG has officially signed on to direct the pilot episode of Turner & Hooch, Disney + ‘s reboot of the classic Boyfriend-Boy comedy from 1989. The TV series, which has a 12-episode order, comes from Matt Nix and 20th TV. McG will also serve as executive producer on the series, which is now in production.

Like the film, the hour-long series centers on Scott Turner, played by Josh Peck, who is now a US Marshal – against the Police Detective played by Tom Hanks in the film.
