The ‘1% club’ heads to Israel
BBC Studios has licensed the game show format The club 1% at Kan 11 in Israel. Created by Magnum Media for ITV in the UK, the format tests the country’s intelligence, based on scientific investigation. It will be adapted into a 15-episode series by Kan, with production starting in August for a premiere in 2022. BBC Studios previously sold the show to the French public broadcaster France Television. The UK version, hosted by Lee Mack, has yet to air on ITV after the coronavirus pandemic delayed production.
