Leonardo DiCaprio made his way and began directing our hearts as Jack Dawson in the critically acclaimed 1997 James Cameron film, Titanic. But did you know that we weren’t the only ones who loved her and had her posters in our room? According to a revelation from famous interior designer Megan Weaver, Leo was also in the same boat.

The interior designer said the actor’s beach house in Malibu was stocked with everything Titanic – including towels, bathrobes and posters. Read everything she said below.

In a recent conversation on the Behind The Velvet Rope podcast with David Yontef, Megan Weaver revealed that she works for Leonardo DiCaprio and his mother, Irmelin Indenbirken. Remembering that they once let her and her boyfriend stay at his home on Carbon Billionaires Beach for a weekend, she then spoke about the house. She said, “And we walked in and you walked into this beach house and it was all Titanic. Titanic napkins, Titanic poster, Titanic, you know, everywhere. And so my boyfriend looked at me and he said, ‘Is this Leo’s house?’ Yes. This is Leo’s house. So it was pretty amazing.

Speaking more about Leonardo DiCaprio’s beach house in Miami, Megan Weaver added, “I don’t think it was something he would do now, but back then, and again, it was like early 90s … I think the movie wasn’t even … that old. And so, yeah. And it wasn’t his main house, either. It was, you know, and he barely went there. So I think them, it was probably his mother who did it, but it was a deadly gift.

Megan added, “I remember it was the best bed I have ever slept in in my life. I had to like it, look at the mattress and see what kind of mattress it was. No, everything was very tasteful, but there were like dead gifts with the towels and the Titanic robes and the Leo poster and yeah. So it was pretty fun.

On the job front, Leonardo DiCaprio will soon be astronomer Dr. Randall Mindy in Adam McKay’s Don’t Look Up. The film, which premieres on Netflix later this year, stars Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Cate Blanchett, Chris Evans and Tyler Perry.
