Kangana Ranaut reacts to farmers’ protest in Delhi and says: “My head is ashamed and I am a failure today”

The farmers’ rally took an ugly turn on Tuesday, January 26 when protesters stormed into Lal Quila in Delhi and wreaked havoc. According to multiple reports, Delhi police have filed 22 complaints against farmer leaders and people protesting farm laws for provoking violence at the Republic Day tractor rally. Several videos on social media showed how barricades were broken, buses vandalized and police were beaten with lathis. Now obviously how could Kangana Ranaut stay closed after such a big event?

Many politicians condemned the violent attacks in Delhi. Kangana Ranaut also took to Twitter to interview those who support farmers. Reposting internet tweets, the Panga actress, who supports the government’s agricultural laws, wrote: “I did my best to avoid this, but I failed…. I might be a spec in the scheme of things, but my failure is huge…. at least that’s how it is…. my head hangs in shame. I could not protect the integrity of my nation. I’m still nobody, I’m everyone … and I’m a failure today.

Sharing another tweet from a netizen asking Diljit Dosanjh for his support for farmers, Kangana Ranaut wrote: “The problem is, we still think we need to enlighten them on what they are supporting as if it will transform it.
