‘Jersey Shore’ star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro to step away from the show – Deadline

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, one of the main members of the Shore House from the original series and now part of the set for the 2018 sequel, Jersey Shore Family Vacations, said today he will be taking a hiatus from the reality show. Ortiz-Magro, 35, said he would seek medical treatment for “mental health issues” he has long “ignored”.

The announcement came as he avoided being charged in a domestic violence case dating back to the end of April. Ortiz-Magro was arrested in Northridge, California, after assaulting a partner while his daughter was in his care (the child’s mother was not involved in the incident).
