Isabella Pappas and Lucy Davis star in Disney Channel-commissioned ‘Amy From Amarillo’ super-villain comedy pilot – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: Disney Channel Green Lighted Half-Hour Live-Action Comedy Pilot Amy d’Amarillo (working title). After a wide search, the young actress Isabella Pappas (Find Alice) landed the title role. She is joined by Lucy Davis, stepping out of her role as Hilda Spellman on Netflix The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Also cast in the driver are General hospital veteran James Patrick Stuart, BONE Former Patricia Belcher, Kayden Muller-Janssen, Malachi Barton and Reed Horstmann (The expanding universe of Ashley Garcia).

Written and produced by Chris Peterson and Bryan Moore, the project follows a family of super-villains who must continue to hide in Amarillo, Texas, when they run into the League of Villains and are on the verge of death. ‘to be liquidated.

Davis plays Amy’s mother, Eva aka Spark, a fiery supervillain who draws electric current from her hands. Pilot production will begin next month.

Pappas, who plays Charlotte in ITV Find Alice, is replaced by 42 and Goodman Genow. Davis, who was also seen in Wonder woman, is replaced by LINK Entertainment and lawyer Jamie Feldman.
