EXCLUSIVE: Camping Former Ione Skye set for recurring role in upcoming NBC drama series La Brea.
In La Brea, written by David Appelbaum, when a huge chasm mysteriously opens up in Los Angeles, it tears a family in two, separating mother (Natalie Zea) and son (Jack Martin) from father (Eoin Macken) and daughter (Zyra Gorecki). When part of the family find themselves in an inexplicable primitive world, alongside a disparate group of strangers, they must work to survive and uncover the mystery of where they are and if there is a way to get home.
Skye will play Jessica Harris, a high profile lawyer and Gavin’s older sister. Jessica is like a second mom to Izzy (Gorecki) and fiercely protects her after the disaster at the sinkhole.

Skye was recently seen in a recurring role on NBC’s third season. Good girls and as a series regular in HBO Camping, created by Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner. His other TV credits include ABC Private practice, MTV Clumsy, Fox Development stopped, as well as Netflix Development stopped in retaliation for his role as Mrs. Veal.
