Content creator and actress Kusha Kapila is among many public figures who use their social media presence to post on Covid helplines, Oxygen and other amenities. Kusha believes that helping others shouldn’t be turned into a heroic act.
“I don’t know a single person who doesn’t help others. Anyone with the necessary bandwidth helps. The creators are not commended for this. Lots of ordinary people who may not be famous but are successful in their respective careers also help. I don’t think creators or anyone famous should be celebrated too much for helping people. It is basic humanity. Right now, any kind of help is appreciated and everyone is involved, ”Kusha Kapila told IANS.
She adds, “That’s all that should be. There shouldn’t be any additional articles on how the creators go out of their way to help. I think this is really unnecessary and better things need to be considered right now. “
Kusha Kapila, whose various entertainment avatars like Monday Aunty, Kavita ki Kavita, among others, keep people out, says her drive to help people stems from her formative years.
“If I wasn’t a public figure, I would always try to help people. It’s just who I am. I come from a common family, so the sense of mutual aid is rooted in us. The colony I grew up in, people have always helped each other and it’s the kind of world I’ve known, ”says Kusha, who was seen in Karan Johar’s segment of the horror anthology OTT 2020 “Ghost Stories”.
Soon we will see Kusha Kapila take part in the show “LOL: Hasse Toh Phasse”, which tells the story of a group of well-known comedians locked in a house, the challenge making others laugh. The last one not to laugh, wins the show.
“I just went there as a fan girl. I knew some really amazing comics were going to be inside. I wanted to fully admire a girl out of a bunch of really accomplished comics and people I admired, ”says Kusha Kapila of her appearance on the show, which will launch on Amazon Prime Video.
