Amit Mistry’s sudden disappearance left the entire nation in shock and grief. The actor was 47 and died of cardiac arrest and his friends and fans across the country pay tribute to actor Bandish Bandits. Now, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Dilip Joshi remembers the actor and shared a moving post on Instagram.
In 2004, Dilip, Amit and Sumeet Raghavan worked together on a TV show called “Shubh Mangal Savdhan”.
Remembering Amit Mistry, Dilip Joshi wrote a moving article with images that read, “Our trio is broken today. But the memories will always stay with me. Amit and his wisdom are going to be missed more than I can tell. He was a lovely man, a pleasure to work with and a pleasure to watch in action. I never thought I’d write something like this for him. May his soul reach the sadgati and may God give us the strength to face such a tremendous loss.

Tannaz Irani reacted to Dilip Joshi’s Instagram post and wrote: “This is truly shocking news. That his soul rests in peace”.
Dilip co-star Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Gurucharan Singh Sodhi also responded to the post and commented, “Waheguru ji bless his soul and pray for his family.”
Meanwhile, Amit Mistry used to stay with his mother in Andheri and it was there that he took his last breath around 9:30 am. His manager told PTI: “He woke up, ate breakfast and even exercised before he suffered cardiac arrest. He was absolutely fit and well. Amit had no noted medical conditions. This is absolutely shocking news.
