Actor Aparshakti Khurana says he’s not driven by the idea of maintaining a certain level or popularity.
“Normally I don’t care about things that are not under my control. Getting a job in the industry is something you can’t control. Cinema is a different art form that you cannot set up a process for. I’ve always gone with the flow and done things that make me happy and satisfied, ”Aparshakti tells IANS.
Aparshakti Khurana adds, “I’ve always done things that didn’t hurt anyone. I did things that made me come home satisfied.
Last seen in Street Dancer, Aparshakti will soon be seen in his first solo appearance as a hero in Helmet, opposite Pranutan, the granddaughter of late legend Nutan. He also has Vikramaditya Motwane’s Stardust web series coming up.
With his roles in films such as Dangal (2016), Stree (2018), Luka Chupi (2018), and Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019) to his credit, Ayushmann Khurrana’s brother Aparshakti has proven himself in little of time.
“Sometimes things go naturally and I’m not going to take credit for this trip,” says Aparshakti Khurana.
“It all happened organically. It can be put in square brackets as not being too difficult. I have accomplished something and I feel blessed, this is how I am seen. More often than not, things don’t go as planned. Sometimes you have to go with the flow and work with the utmost honesty. The kind of people I worked with automatically worked in my favor and gave me an individual path, ”he summarizes so far.
